Automate processes and replace Excel – custom software for your business

Duplicate data entry, paperwork, Excel lists in dozens of versions: I build small, targeted solutions that take recurring work off your hands – tailor-made, without expensive subscriptions.

Typical tasks I solve for businesses

A small, targeted solution is often enough. Examples from practice:

Replace Excel lists with a real application

Customer management (CRM), order or project management as a simple web application – for several people at once, with permissions and history.

Digitise forms and paper processes

Fill in checklists, acceptance and maintenance reports directly on a phone or tablet, then file and process them automatically.

Automatic reminders and customer communication

Appointment reminders, status updates and follow-up questions run automatically – for example by email or WhatsApp, GDPR-compliant on your own infrastructure.

Connect systems

Interfaces to accounting (e.g. Lexoffice, DATEV), online shop, till or calendar so data is entered only once.

Time and job tracking on the go

Native apps for iOS, macOS and Windows or mobile web apps for field service and construction sites.

Reports and dashboards

Turn existing data into clear figures without anyone maintaining spreadsheets by hand.

AI support where it helps

For example to sort documents, read invoice data or draft texts – only where it saves time and privacy and quality are checked.

Custom development instead of permanent subscriptions

Ready-made platforms and providers often charge permanent monthly fees. A tailor-made solution costs once to develop and afterwards only running costs. That usually saves money, and the data can stay on your own infrastructure.

Whether a custom solution pays off depends on the case. I first check honestly whether standard software is the better choice. More in the projects: a custom WhatsApp Business API and a website with integrated booking and payment system.

From problem to solution

  1. Understand the workflow

Together we look at where time is lost and choose the process with the greatest benefit.

  2. Smallest useful solution

I implement the most important function first so you see results early.

  3. Rollout in the team

Test in daily use, briefing and adjustments based on your feedback.

  4. Operation and extension

Maintenance, updates and new features as your needs grow.

Frequently asked questions

Is a custom solution worthwhile compared with standard software?

If good standard software exists for your workflow, it is often the better choice, and I will tell you so. A custom solution pays off when standard products do not fit, are too expensive long term, or when data should stay with you.

Which processes are suitable for automation?

Anything that repeats, follows fixed rules and is done by hand today: retyping data, sending reminders, compiling reports, filling in forms.

How long does implementation take?

Small solutions are often ready within a few weeks. Larger projects I split into stages so you benefit early.

Can you connect existing software?

Yes. Interfaces and system integrations are one of my focus areas, for example to accounting, shop systems and communication services.

Do you use artificial intelligence?

Where it has a clear benefit, for example with documents and texts. I pay attention to privacy and check what can run on your own infrastructure. As a principle I do not pass data to external services unchecked.
